Founded in 2019, our initial inspiration was to modernise the HR landscape, specialising in film, TV and theatre. We support our clients so they can achieve goals by embracing an empathetic, collaborative approach to human resources. We focus on active listening to clearly understand the challenges we're tasked with and to find innovative solutions for the most impactful results.

Introducing Tacita Small, Founder of

The Small HR Company.

As a senior HR leader within her field, Tacita worked "in-house" for nearly three decades with many instantly recognisable brands, including Westfield, The Walt Disney Company, Apple, Ministry of Sound, Freemantle and BBC Worldwide.

With this breadth of experience, Tacita started The Small HR Company in 2019 to bring modern, creative and human-centric HR practices to businesses of all sizes.

Tacita's mission is to ensure that the creative and entertainment industries move toward a place where solid practices are the norm and everyone enjoys transparent, honest, collaborative and supportive environments.
