Creative Social Media & Community Manager
(Freelance)
Job Posted: April 23rd, 2024
Team: Media Team
Location: Remote
Salary: (to be discussed)
The Role
We’re a small HR consultancy that supports the creative and entertainment industry – but if you looked at our social channels right now, you might not know it. We’ve been playing it safe. It’s time to fix that.
We’re looking for a Creative Social Media & Community Manager (Freelance) to help us show up properly - on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and beyond
We’re not looking for someone to post filler content or chase trends. We want a creative partner who understands platforms, gets personality-led content, and can help us build something with heart.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Creating platform-native content that doesn’t feel recycled
Helping shape and grow our founder-led brand voice
Curating and engaging both our client and HR professionals community
Supporting blog creation – either writing or editing in our voice
Creating engaging email comms and newsletters that feel like a conversation, not a campaign
Bringing strategy and execution – not just posting and ghosting
What We’re Not Looking For:
Agency-style fluff
Cookie-cutter content calendars
“Professional” content with no personality
Who You Are:
A creative thinker who actually enjoys the weird and wonderful world of social
You understand how different platforms behave – and tailor content accordingly
You can write with warmth, wit and clarity
You love turning voice notes and half-ideas into content that feels alive
You’ve got past work or personal projects that show your style (show us!)
What’s on Offer:
A paid trial project to create a week of content (you’ll be compensated for your time)
Ongoing freelance work or a retainer if we click
Access to work with other creative-led businesses in our network
Full access to tools, content, and support – we want you to thrive
How to Apply:
We don’t need a formal CV. We want to see your style, this could be:
A short video or reel
A few screenshots of past content
A Loom talking through how you’d approach this
Or anything that shows us your thinking and creativity
